i have OFTEN heard PEOPLE say that any body who has Asperger is RUDE .NO WAY,i very often hear so called

Normal people say words like .piss off,shit,f... ...,and other words as well.and because these are Normal People 

THIS IS FINE.,BUT ,when it is a person with aspergers ..ooh,it is very different.it is like it is USED AGAINST US.i very

very often say words like Snot .when i do PEOPLE really stair like I have commited a crime.BUT i hear so called normal

people say words like Snot AND THIS IS FINE.//////NO WAY IS HAVING ASPERGER SYNDROME BEING RUDE if it is any

thing at all IT IS NORMAL PEOPLE VERY VERY RUDE,.

Who first started discussing sexuality education with you,what tools did they use ,were they helpful

as a child i saw MY BODY changing ,HATED.DETESTED.seeing other people nude/naked HELPED SO MUCH

NOBODY first started discussing sexuality education .ONLY TOOLS ,THE ONLY HELP ///SEEING PEOPLE

we are often in contact.i  have written letters on a very rare subject ,aspergers and sex. you have read these letters .what do you think .what has impressed you the most

i have certainly read each letter  you have sent me,what i am all ways impressed by is your sex awareness ,you know what has worked for you.what has not.and what makes you happy...in work shops  i all ways share two things with you.the list of sensory driven sexual acts.it is quite over welmming .and really made me think about how hard sex can be when sensory integration is a challenge...i all so share what you wrote ////

the sexual abuse was the only education i ever had,...it shocks me and aches my heart every time i share it with some thing this drives me too try to make sure that neverever happens too another individual/so i will keep that statement close to my heart .and keep sharing how unacceptable this is.,and respond to it as a call to action .a call to change ,a call for education.

a question for you to ask me

what would you tell a teenager with aspergers about what you learned in life .about relationships .about dreams about hope.

get your self diagnosed...DO NOT SELF-DIAGNOSE,talk about your meltdowns EVAN AS A ADULT .sex understand the body.BE NUDE BE

NAKED AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE,.even as a ADULT ,relationships will happen .I WAS IN MY 30-ISH WHEN MINE HAPPENED

people with aspergers are very very aware about sex .but things like Puberty /understanding their own bodies IS HELL ..very very big disater..why do you think that this is

as a teacher ,i all ways belive that every thing comes down too education.i think that puberty is a very difficult time for every adolescent ,thyere are a lot of unexspected changes .and those changes come with new smells,feelings,hair,body changes.,i can not imagine how scary that would be if no one exsplained why it was happening .or what could do about it.i think that education should happen before puberty begins .so that young children know what is coming.

a question for you to ask me 

if a fairy come down too you tomorrow and offered to take away your aspergers .would you say yes.why,,,.

i would say 100 PER CENT ,//NO,NO,NO,,i would NOT be me/myself. two books i wrote would NOT be written,I WOULD NOT BE TALKING TO 

YOU EMILY ,.i would not be helping Parents who have children with Autism/Asperger syndrome.I would NOT Hare //Normal People like the 

IN-LAWS for instance ,i would NOT have the most Wonderful WIFE AND CHILDREN in the WORLD ,..as a person with Aspergers I have far too 

much HATE ///HURT from Normal People .THIS HOLDS ME TOGETHER AS A ADULT WITH ASPERGERS,,,

what do you think of asperger and sex education

what i know to be true is that every one is born with sexuality.it is not GIVEN to them.however.society often works hard to  exclude individuals who have special learning needs  from accessing their sexuality .what often happens id that because some one withAspergers may be believed to be vulurable or Asexual.thety become a target for sexual abuse .instead of all individuals regard less of learing and social heeds ,should be included in sexuality education .so that they can exslore their sexuality in a safe way..there are certainly specific educational stratergies that can be used.because people with Aspergers learn differently from many people who do not  have aspergers .,but there is no reason that they can not be included in sexuality education

what would you like to see change most in thye Aspergers world.

i would like to see Aspergers valued as a lens through which some people see the world .seeing aspergers as a lens,and NOT a disability could help  all people to value each other

i have aspergers ,how would you give me sex education .books,photos,leaflets.video//dvd .exsplain in as much detail.

firstly i would get to know you.i want to know what you know.how you learn .and what you are interested in.i do know that people with aspergers often best learn through repetion visual supports as such .i would look for materials that could be concrete and exsplore hands -on.such as videos ,photos.brochures and tomically correct models .i would work on  what ever you wanted too work on.what you want to learn.

being naked /nude is a big part nof aspergers .do you think that this is how people with aspergers understand  become aware of their own bodies

i was not aware of this until you helped me understand .i do know that sometimes people who have difficulty with sensory processing will struggle with elements of clothing.,what i do know though is that it is socially appropriotte and legal to wear clothes in public  .there is a lot learning that needs to take place around privacy.where is it okay to be naked .cerainly all individuals have the right too exsplore their bodies .but that needs to be partnered with learing of where and when it is appropriate.

A,my name is Emily Martinella .i live and work in Eastern Canada.i started learnig about Aspergers Syndrome when i become interested in Early 

intervention .supporting families who have children with special needs.i worked as a rarly intervention for three years .advocating for families and

helping families to learn the skills to work with their children to help them develop skills in their natural learning enviroments like home and childcare

YOU do a very rare subject ,..Aspergers and Sex .talk about it.do you do a blog.if not why not,

B,i do not write a blog.i started to once and deleted it because i wasn,t confident enough to generate traffic in a way i needed too.i did start a Face book page and am facing similar challenges .in that i only have 35 likes ,so some times i dont write as much as i should,

how would people be able too find out about your chats

C,Usually i am hired by specific organizations .who have paticuler people they mail out invitations to.i have had friends host before .and invite their 

friends to come learn as well,which i really enjoyed .because i think families can make such an incredible difference and are often excluded from this level of training 

have you done any research if not swould you

D,i have not done any research yet. .but i have done literature reviews taking existing data and drawing conclusions around the need too 

beg in sexuality education for young children of all abilities.i have had published twice in the joural of sexuality and disability.and i look forward to continuing research as i purseue my masters of arts in child and youth study.

I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH aspergers about 1991 ,I knew i WAS VERY DIFFERENT FROM MOST PEOPLE .i knew for a long time.i was told

by a gentleman called Pete Ludlow .one of the saddest things was .HE LEFT ,.it left me very very very Empty.no help nothing MADE THINGS 

SO MUCH MORE WORSOR FOR ME...went  down hill great deal.but then BEING ME CRAWLED MYSELF WAY BACK UP .when i was diagnosed it was like \THUNDER AND LIGHTENIING HITTING ME AT THE VERY SAME TIME.one thing i will say to other people is GET YOURSELF DIAGNOSED ..do not,..DO NOT /EVER/.. SELF-DIAGNOSE

6,no,i don,t see these as disabilities .i feel that they help people.where i disagree is when i see very young people worried so much about how they look and the fact that they want too look perfect i all so saw some very young girls putting make up on at the club where i swim,this bothered me very much..

7,i think education of this type is essention .the trouble is that it is very hard to get people to talk about it //so hard too do research on it

1.talk about your self,what you do,your job.university you are at.past research,how can people read your research

1,i am the Director of teaching and learning for the institute of education the university of reading .we work mainly in the field of initial 

teacher training and we train 500 teachers a year.my job means that i am concerned with the quality of the training we provide .i am responsible for student engagement,when students don,t do well or stop attending class,s.i.m al so responceable for making sure group follows universirt guide lines and policies .my reserch interest is in the field of Autism.my PHD looked at the issue of appropriate educatinal provision from the point  of view of parents,schools, local authorities.it showed that ervery one defined it differently ,and this meant it was hard to make appropriate provision .///as we all though that to be different things / i become interested in this research AFTER working in school where a number of adolescents had difficulities understanding their sexual maturity .

what would you like too see change in the autism/aspergers world 

2,this is a hard question to answer ,i,d like to see a better system for those who are doing research.research to gain access to individuals who are on the spectrum to be involved in conducting robust research that is published and shared

what research have you NOT done .but would like too do

3,for me it is about getting some funding to be able to do more research that i want too do,i need to apply for grants so that university will allow me to spend more time on this

spoke about this LAST YEAR.... however,past few days very very difficult ..I ,wet and shit myself 7 days a week .I,,have too wear Adult Nappies .I AM

NOT AFAID TOO SAY EATHER .but what happens is .I GET BY THE COUNCIL BIG YELLOW BAGS .too put wet/shitty adult nappies in .then about 

EVERY THURSDAY i put them out the front .a coucil van then picks them up.HOWEVER THIS HAS .../NOT...BEEN HAPPE NING PAST WEEK.so 

what am i//we supposed too do.ring them we did .ooh, they are late .they will be there .2 DAYS LATER .still NOTHING .even leaving the bags OUT 

THE WAIT TOO BE COLLECT ...///PEOPLE SEE ,SMIRKS ON THERE DISGRACEFUL FACES.,in the mean time our brown bin is FULL of TIGER 

BAGS ..Soaking Wet Shitty Adult Nappies.TELEPHONED Council back TRY Monday they said.ANY BODY THAT IS DISABLED has too pay COUCIL

TAX .yet what do the Councels//Goverments do.HOW WOULD THESE ..PRATS, LIKE TOO HAVE//MY,,,  BLADDER//BOWEL PROBLEMS.....

OUR SON, lewis will be  12 YEARS OLD TOMORROW

Lewis has aspergers .like i do .he is very very very FUNNY..without trying.very loving .Lewis is very proud that he 

has Aspergers .OFTEN TELLS US THIS.FAR TOO OFTEN people are UN kind/Horrible/Nasty too Lewis OFTEN lewis

sees this melt downs are very common with lewis.very very strong  lewis is,lewis gets on very well with his older brother

Jason and Younger sister Isabella rose .lewis has a restbite workrt .Laura ,WE ARE VERY VERY IMPRESSED BY HER

lewis really injoys lauras company .a very very good match.lewis really looks forward too his presents ..myself and 

tabitha can haRDLY BELIEVE lewis is 12 tomorrow.at most times lewis is very very cheeky calling me MARK AND mum
